To celebrate and kick start National Threatened Species Month, we would like to invite you to join Thunderbird Rewilding’s inaugural volunteer event. To help us launch a new conservation initiative dedicated to protecting the vast variety of flora and fauna of Tamborine Mountain.
A relaxed morning with plenty to discover, followed by hands-on planting along Cedar Creek.

Closed Shoes
You will be spending time near the creek bank, so sturdy closed footwear is best.
A Hat & Water
Coffee and cake are provided, but remember your hat and a refillable water bottle.
We Supply The Rest
Gloves, tools and trees will all be ready — simply bring yourself and the family.

Is this event suitable for young children?
Yes. The day is designed to welcome families, with our team nearby to guide younger Rangers through the planting activity. Any final age or supervision notes will be included with your booking details.
Do I need to book in advance?
Booking ahead is encouraged because it helps us prepare the right number of trees, tools and refreshments. Any availability for registration on the day will depend on remaining capacity.
Where should I go when I arrive?
Your confirmation and reminder email will include the meeting point, parking directions and everything you need to find us easily.
What happens if it rains?
We will contact booked guests if the weather changes the plan. Where possible, the welcome and conservation presentation can move indoors, with planting adjusted according to conditions.
